Jon Robeson, the main character, is an aspiring young British reporter. He works for Hollywood's leading celebrity TV channel and the author, Casha, provides a very good behind-the-scenes take on what really lies behind those splashy tabloid headlines. Jon needs a story – A career saving story. Something big and it comes in the form of a scandal involving Hollywood's most prized couple, who just happen to be his friends. Best Actor is not just an average every day walk down the red carpet. The author does a great job with the behind the scenes look into 'Celebrity' while maintaining a fictional element – “In terms of research,” the author says, “I visited a number of TV studios to see how they work and spoke to some friends who work in journalism and media to get some background, but basically Jon is a figment of my imagination.”
