Traditional publishing company
launches a non-traditional, self-publishing service.
April 1, 2008 - Cereb Press is one of the latest
self-publishing services to enter the market, but
they are by no means a typical self-publishing service.
Traditional publisher, Community Press, has launched Cereb Press for the
sole purpose of providing self-publishing authors with the needed
expertise and support, found only through traditional publishing houses.
Cereb Press intends to remain small and highly specialized, only taking
on a handful of publishing projects per month. They believe that this is
the only way they can focus on the success of each individual author and
book. Cereb Press does not practice an assembly-line method of operation
- where covers and text are dropped into templates by less than

print cost plus 2.00 per book. Period. Cereb Press does not take any
percentage of sales, whether those sales are through its wholesale
distribution sources or directly to the author. There are no confusing
royalty payment structures, additional fees, hidden fees or minimum
quantity penalties. Everything is based on a set cost per book, with the
author retaining 100% net profit from the sales of that book. The Cereb
Press author cost and profit structure is simple, direct, and extremely
author-friendly!
