"The Rebel: How to Rebel Before the System Overwhelms You"
(Publisher: Trafford Publishing ISBN-10:
1412097169) by Paul Bezaire is inspiring. (available at
Rebel101.com, Amazon.com or Trafford.com) This book is a literary
light in a storm that will make every reader see and think twice
about standing up against the 'system' when the 'system' is wrong.
What is a rebel? Webster's dictionary defines rebel as, " to act in
or show opposition" and haven't we ALL wanted to "show some
opposition" at some point in our life? We are all basically
understanding and intelligent people who go about our lives
performing actions or not performing actions simply because we think
it is the right thing to do. We ALL have wanted to fight back at
sometime in our life - A few of us have fought back but MANY do
not.
In "The Rebel: How to Rebel Before the System Overwhelms You", Mr.
Bezaire says "rebels attack prevailing systems ...attacking
conventional ideas...they challenge old customs, habits, regulations
and laws that no longer have merit - if they ever did." Recently
interviewed Mr. Bezaire said, "A rebel is a person who one day grabs
the master's whip and turns on the master. He says, 'Up to this
point I will obey but you have gone too far. A rebel is someone who
has had enough of the masters nonsense."
"The Rebel: How to Rebel Before the System Overwhelms You" made me
think about our history and who have been true rebels -- I think of
Jackie Robinson who proved that in baseball, the only "race" that
was important was the race to the base and the only purpose for
"color" was to distinguish the teams' uniforms. Jackie Robinson was
a "rebel" who broke baseball's color barrier. Thomas Edison was a
"rebel" who was granted 1093 patents by the U.S. Patent Office
because he constantly thought of ways to improve things. Walt Disney
was a "rebel" who created family entertainment in ways never thought
possible. Mother Teresa won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979 but didn't
change. She was a "rebel" who was selfless in a world that was
selfish.
Paul Bezaire, a.k.a. The Rebel, has spent many years rebelling
against established unfair situations. His book "How I Sued PayPal
and Won,” also available through Trafford Publishing or Amazon.com,
shows how a person can sue PayPal or eBay in small claims court even
without an attorney. Other books by Bezaire include "The Man Who
Sued God," "The Cybernetic Golfer” "The Cybernetic Bowler" "Pay No
More Parking Tickets” and Pay No More Speeding Tickets.”
In "The Rebel," the author cites many examples of how he has
rebelled against the system while staying within the framework of
the law. He tells how he forced the Association of Engineering
Geologists to change its Code of Ethics. When a new runway was
completed at the Los Angeles International airport, he forced the
FAA to close the runway until they realigned the final approach zone
away from his home. And when the city of Rosemead stopped picking up
residents' garbage for nonpayment of rubbish fees, he forced the
city to change its policy so no garbage was left uncollected.
"Rebel against the system before it overwhelms you," Bezaire says.
"But always stay within the framework of the law.” Using this
advice, Bezaire was able to convince his fourteen-year old grandson
to successfully rebel against a store owner. The teenager planned to
throw a brick through the owner's store window because the store
would not honor a money-back guarantee, but Bezaire explained it
would be faster to stay within the framework of the law and simply
picket the store. Following this suggestion, the store owner gave
his money back in less than five minutes.
"I receive many letters of thanks from people who I have helped for
free, how to avoid having to pay parking or speeding tickets," the
authors says. "I especially enjoy helping people to get their money
back from PayPal."
"The Rebel: How to Rebel Before the System Overwhelms You" is a
groundbreaking achievement. Oscar Wilde once said, "Disobedience, in
the eyes of anyone who has read history, is man's original virtue.
It is through disobedience and rebellion that progress has been
made." "The Rebel: How to Rebel Before the System Overwhelms You" is
the best book on fighting the "system" and standing up for yourself
that has ever been written. Entertaining, funny, original and
educational -- Buy yourself a copy today and be a "Rebel".

had a trial de novo as stated by the judge in Case # SM04C01472,
Superior Court of Los Angeles County, and affirmed by the
California Supreme Court. A full certified transcript of the
