New York, NY (PRWEB) June 14, 2007 -

The WLA group of companies announces the acquisition of The Literary Agency Group of companies and simultaneously increases it's capacity to accept new talent. http://www.writersliterary.com/acquiretlag.html

WLA is the second largest editing company in the world behind Scribendi. WLA is embarking on a vertical integration strategy that includes buying the best writing talent in the country through the acquisition of select literary agencies.

Publishers applaud the new model. Authors that have been edited before the submission process are that much more valuable to publishers fighting tight margins and escalating costs and competition.

WLA is also seeking new authors to submit their work. "New writers and fresh talent are the lifeblood of the industry", states Robert West, Principal. "We are unique in that we are willing to work with writers to grow their talent. We will do what it takes to make our writers ready for the market."

Submissions are accepted at www.wlwritersagency.com.

"The acquisition of the literary agency is further evidence that we are creating a trend in what has been a fragmented and boutique industry", continued Mr. West. "We believe we may have the largest database of edited and credentialed writers in the world. This only serves to make our relationships with our publishers stronger".

WLA recently attended Book Expo America and exhibited in the International Literary Rights Centre. Further acquisitions will be announced soon.

Positive Reviews from our Satisfied Clients:

I must admit I was deathly afraid to read my critique when I received it. Allow me to say getting a critique done was the best eighty dollars I've ever spent, and not because the critique was a favorable one. I appreciated the professional concerns you pointed out, as these tips can only enhance my writing. Once again, thank you so much and I look forward to working with you again in the future. - Andrew L.

Wow!! Thank you so very much for your honesty and for your straightforward analysis. After reading the MS so many times, I guess I never saw the grammatical errors that seem so blatant now. I will follow your suggestions and try to analyze my writing with a close eye on grammar. I cannot thank you enough for your help. I wish you could help me with the entire work but I know that if I do not try to improve on my own, I will never learn and I will always be dependent. I will keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best. Once again I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart! Best Regards - Tony R.

Louise: Thank you for your constructive feedback and for assisting be in further relations with the New York Literary Agency. I found your critique of my work very informative, and it concluded many things that I already knew. I really do need to improve on my punctuation skills, and that has been something I have struggled with for some time. I appreciate your suggestions on materials to improve this, and I plan on taking an advanced grammar and punctuation class at the college I am attending. Several other points you made were also very informative. I know I have a long way to go before I am a "professional" writer, but I am glad that you agreed that the potential is definitely there. I'd also like to thank you and your company for staying in contact with me through this process. I would, and will, come back to your company if I need further material critiqued. Thank you again for your time. -Richard H.

I have reviewed the critique for my screenplay and in my opinion it helped me a lot. It showed me the types of mistakes I have made and what necessary steps I should take to improve the quality of the script, thus increasing my chances to reach my goal. I would like to thank my editor for his help and I'm feeling much better after reading the Critique. Thanks again! I wish you all the best. - Walter K.
